Nancy Irene Lilly

Nancy Irene Lilly, 69, of Charleston, passed away on July 6, 2014, at Hubbard Hospice House. She was born at Flattop on August 29, 1944, a daughter of the late Lowell and Julina Adkins Phillips. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Irene Capps. Nancy was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her loving husband, Bennie Lee Lilly; son, Bennie Lee Lilly II of Charleston; daughter, Julina Louise Lilly of Charleston; son-in-law, Donald Capps of Dunn, North Carolina; grandchildren, Quinn and Mikey Jones and Christopher Pina, all of North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Emily, Gabriel and Larry Michael Jones and Austin Pina, also of North Carolina; brothers, Fred Phillips of Elliston, Virginia, Wilmer Phillips of Flattop and Pete Phillips of Springfield, Missouri; and sisters, Geraldine Cooper of Flattop and Carolyn Sue Agee of Gent. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. John Hudson officiating. The burial will follow the service in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Family and friends will gather for the visitation on Thursday, July 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
