Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William “Bill” Robert Wheeler; brother, John Scott.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Wheeler of Charleston, Timothy and Amy Wheeler of Charlotte, NC, and Tammy and Justin O’Reilly of Charleston; grandchildren, Loryn (Brandon) Griffin, Hali Wheeler, Scotty, Will (Kaylie) and Nathan Wheeler, Nicholas, Noah and Katy O’Reilly; great grandchildren, Braxton
Griffin, Liam, Gwendolyn and Harrison Wheeler; sisters, Sue (Roger) Hicks and Barbara (Tom) Hicks all of Vera Beach, FL.; brother, Bob (Debi) Scott of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews.
Because of Nina’s Love for children she retired as a Teacher’s Aide with 35 years of service with the Kanawha County Board of Education having worked at Valley Grove Elementary, Thomas Jefferson Jr. High, Charleston High and Ruffner Elementary Schools. She attended the Valley Grove Church of the Nazarene.
Nina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday July 29, 2018 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Rev. Mark Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
