Born September 18, 1953, the son of James Edward and Vivian Colleen Hackney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Cameron Ray Hackney.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Jeanette Schindler of Marietta, Ohio; nieces, Lauren Hackney and Alison Atkinson; nephew, Luke Schindler; and four grand-nieces and -nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, 4203 Salines Drive Malden, West Virginia 25306 with Rev. Fred Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
