She lived her 73 years as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loving the Lord with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford R. Barker; parents, Edward T. and Ella Baker Elkins; two sisters and one brother.
Sheila is survived by her daughters, Sarah (Andrew) Brake and Rachel Barker; grandchildren, Nora and Evie Brake and many others; sister, Evelyn Downs; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Ed Damron officiating.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday.
The family request if you are planning to attend the service, to honor Sheila, please wear her favorite color, blue.
