Wilda Lorraine Campbell

Wilda was the daughter of the late Orin H. Jeffers and Opal Reynolds of Fraizers Bottom, WV. Wilda was a member of Big Bottom Missionary Baptist Church at Campbells Creek. She loved her church family and would speak of them often. She was employed by the Kroger Company for many years and was a member of the Salina Chapter #81 Order of the Eastern Star, which she loved being involved.

Wilda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel J. Campbell; and her beloved son, Samuel Lee Campbell; her older sister, Wanda P. Bird, Parkersburg, WV; and brother, Hillary O. Jeffers of Warren, OH.

Wilda is survived by her niece and husband, Joyce and Mike Lorentz of Belpre, OH who helped care for her for the past seven years. She is also survived by her sister, Aumothea Templeton of St Albans; brother, James C. Jeffers of Nitro, WV; and many nieces and nephews. Also, close friends, Barbara and Ben Watson and Charlie Lynch of Charleston.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday May 1, 2026, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Rev. Fred Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Big Bottom Missionary Baptist Church at 1259 Campbell Creek Drive, Charleston, WV 25306.
