He was born in Cunard, WV to Namon and Alberta (Brown) Penn, on January 22, 1934.
William was a painter at Cecil Walker Machinery and enjoyed working with his co-workers and friends.
William was preceded in death by his beloved son and daughter, Edward Dewayne Penn and Kelly Yvette Penn, and 11 brothers and sisters. William is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Mary Pauline (Mack) Penn; daughter, Kimberly Penn-Brown; grandchildren, Kelly Brown and Curtis Edward Brown and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
William enjoyed traveling and being with his family, working around his home, and helping loved ones.
William Penn’s life and love of family will be celebrated at a funeral service scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Rand Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 4812 Church Dr., Rand, WV with Reverend Dorothy Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in South Charleston, WV.
The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
