Daniel Gilchrist “Dan” a resident of Manahawkin since 1968 passed away on Tuesday, May 7th. Dan was 89. He is survived by his wife Helen, his four children, Maureen, Danna, Bill and Janet. He is also survived by his grandchildren Michael, Pat, Brian, Brendan and Danielle, and his great-grandchildren Keith, Jack, Patrick, Jack and Noah. Dan was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. It was during his time in the “Corps”, that Dan met the love of his life Helen, who was also a Marine. Dan and Helen were married for 69
8 years. He will be sorely missed by his beloved family.A visition will be on friday from 4-8PM with a service at 9AM Saturday Moring burial will be at George Washington Cemetery, NJ
