Mickey worked for the United States Department of Defense and the United States Department of Labor for a combined total of 34 years. Mickey also proudly served in the United States Army National Guard for 38 years retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 4.
Mickey is survived by his son and daughter-in law, Andrew and Julie; his grandchildren, Tara and Drew, his step-grandchildren, Taylor and Connor and his two sisters, Josephine and Martha.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 6, 2015 and Monday, December 7, 2015 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 10:00am. Burial will follow at the Brig. General William Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Province Line Rd. Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to the American Lung Association.
