So sorry for your loss of a very wonderful woman and my landlady. If it was not for for Dorothy Fodor, I would have never enjoyed the duplex on LBI. My husband and I bought the duplex from her on December 2nd or 3rd, 1992. Still living here in the summers in the same 1st story. I miss the hydrangea bushes. She was always funny and fun to be around. When I was single and lived on the 1st floor all year, when i paid my rent, she was sooo funny and we both would be having laughs together. Such a beautiful, smart lady. Loved the pictures of her and John on the slide show it made me cry and brought back great memories.
She is with God now and telling Him some jokes and making Him laugh. 

She’d tell me many stories, but one that sticks out was her bragging that when  she learned to drive a car the car had a manual transmission. “That’s all the had back then. And the shifter was on the steering column!” Three on the tree 😂

Our Mom loved to sing, a lot, everywhere and anytime. She also used to "squeek" after she ate. Much to the delight of her children and grandchildren.
