Born in Newfoundland Canada on April 3rd, 1931, Dotty moved to Brooklyn at the age of 16 where she resided until 1998, when she moved to Staten Island. In 2016, she relocated to Lakewood, NJ. She loved being a mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed the Gameshow Network and trips to Atlantic City.
She is survived by her daughters Laura Piscopo and husband Joseph, Dorothy Marziotto and partner Frank LaRose, son Robert Hyde and partner Ellena, grandchildren Robert Marziotto, Michael Marziotto, Justin Hyde and wife Kristin, Anthony Perfidio, Amanda Perfidio, and great granddaughter Mila Marziotto.
Dotty was predeceased by her parents Samuel and Elizabeth Tobin, all of her siblings, her son-in-law Robert Marziotto and her daughter-in-law Aida Hyde.
Dotty was a great lady, a wonderful mom, your best friend, and an amazing grandma. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Cremation will be private and is under the care of Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
