Dorothy C. Taylor, age 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Dorothy was a long time resident of Ship Bottom, New Jersey, formally of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Clara Craigmile, her sister Mary Jane Gartlan, and her beloved husband Harry Taylor. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Susan and Jeffrey Gilbert of Amesbury Massachusetts, her son Robert Taylor of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania and her daughter and son-in-law Barbara and John Redmond of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. She was a devoted grandmother to Elizabeth Gilbert, James Gilbert, Kathryn Redmond Oberlies and John Redmond IV.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Innocents Episcopal Church located at 410 S. Atlantic Ave. and Beach Haven, New Jersey. A private burial will take place at a later date.
