Eileen P Fleming Miles

Born to the late Frank and Beatrice Fleming (nee Cobb), she has lived in Manahawkin for the past 8 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Miles and a son John P. Miles. Eileen is survived by her two devoted daughters and their spouses Eileen and Daniel McCallum, Manchester, and Teresa and Michael Tarricone, Manahawkin. Eileen is also survived by her siblings and their families. Her brother, Frank & Denise Fleming, Florida and two sisters, Janet & Joseph Keenan, New Jersey and Diane & Joseph Cunha, New Jersey. She was a loving Mom Mom to her six surviving grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Eileen was born in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx, graduating from St Simon Stock. She married Jack in 1957 and moved to New Jersey where they raised their children. She worked for Provident Savings Bank until her retirement in 1993. Eileen was a devoted member of St. Mary’s of the Pines Parish, Manahawkin. She was an amazing woman who consistently saw the best of every situation. Eileen always had a smile and a kind word for anyone she met. She was loved by all and will be very deeply missed.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 2 at Thos Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive from 1-5PM. Funeral mass will be held Monday, February 3 at 10 am, St Mary’s of the Pines Church, Manahawkin. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lakewood immediately following.
