James Menture

Born in Orange, NJ, he was raised and educated in Keansburg, NJ.

Jim proudly served his country in the U.S Navy. He was an exempt Fireman from Hose Company 1 in Secaucus, NJ.

He was predeceased by his parents, Rachel and Thomas Manture, his sisters June Menture and Margaret Ferraro, and his brothers, Anthony, Louis and Thomas.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Terri, his loving siblings, brothers; William, Dennis and Raymond, his sister Rachel, his sister-in-law Barbars Ehleus and her son Michael Angelo Sipe.

Jim was loved and embraced by his own large family as well as Terri’s many cousins. He will be missed by all.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2:00-5:00pm at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am Monday, January 3, 2022 at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, Beachview Ave, Manahawkin, NJ with a committal service to follow at Brig. General William C. Doyle Memorial Veteran Cemetery, Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, NJ.
