AGE: 83 MANAHAWKIN
John P Gamache, 83, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away. John served in the Marine Corp. in WWII in the Pacific. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Manahawkin, Former Commodore of the Beach Haven YC and a member of the Fawn Lakes mens club. He worked for the New Brunswick Post Office as a Sectional Center Manager for 36 years before retiring.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanne; sons, Gregory and his wife Doris of CA, Roger and his wife Peig of MA; grandchildren, LT Andrew Gamache USAF, Paul Gamache, Jeanne Botelho and Michelle Strassel; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., in Manahawkin, NJ on Sunday, from 4 -7pm with a funeral Service at the funeral home at 6pm. Burial will be on Monday at the Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains NJ at 11am. Condolences may be sent to
