

Louis S. Napoli, of Long Beach Township NJ, passed away on April 10, 2025, at his home in Beach Haven Park surrounded by his family. He was born in Bristol PA, grew up in Atlantic City NJ and Philadelphia PA and settled in Hamilton Township NJ with his family before retiring to Long Beach Township. Louis was born in 1931 to Giuseppe and Caterina Napoli(Tumarello).
He attended Girard College boarding school in Philadelphia until graduation in 1949, at the age of 18. Following graduation, he received a degree as an electronics technician in Great Lakes, Illinois. He served in the US Navy on the USS Pittsburgh during the Korean war from 1951 to 1955. He married the love of his life, Madeline Jean Kane in 1956, following her graduation from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Trenton NJ. Louis attended Rutgers University School of Engineering, graduating Magna cum Laude in 1959. He joined RCA Laboratories following his graduation and was awarded more than 30 US patents. During his time at RCA laboratories, he attained his Masters Degree from Rutgers University.
He shared his love of sailing and woodworking with his children and grandchildren who continue to carry on those passions. He was always looking for new adventures including the successful pursuits of his SCUBA diving certification and pilot’s license. In his later years, he enjoyed creating beautiful stained-glass images and cooking with his beloved wife.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren. He treasured his relationships with extended family, friends and colleagues. He was an inspiration, and a kind and supportive man that will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Madeline Jean Napoli (Kane), daughter Kathleen (Jerry) Davis, son John (Joanne) Napoli and three grandchildren, Larissa, Giulia and Francesca. Also surviving are his niece Catherine Mennuti Bernard and nephew John Kane as well as countless special friends.

A funeral mass will be offered Saturday April 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 4700 Long Beach Blvd. Long Beach Twp NJ.
