

Margaret Biczel Fedorochko, 79, of Hobe Sound, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, on Long Beach Island. She was born on July 28, 1935 in Bayonne, NJ and served as a public school teacher in the Jersey City Public Schools for three decades before retiring in 1990. She was a 1959 graduate of New Jersey City University.
Margaret led an active life and enjoyed the game of golf, spending time on the beach, and the loving company of family, neighbors and many friends. She was an avid reader and crossword puzzle aficionado. Margaret was a resident of Heritage Hills in Hobe Sound, FL and summered on the island community of Long Beach Island.
Margaret is survived by her son, Michael Fedorochko of Hillsborough, NJ and her two beloved grandsons, Michael Fedorochko and Nicholas Fedorochko, both of Bridgewater, NJ.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael Fedorochko, Jr. in 2004 and her younger son Matthew Fedorochko in 2011. Her husband was a United States Marine who served in the Korean War, and Margaret remained actively involved in ‘Charlie Company’ veteran’s reunions for many years after his passing.
A l service will be held on Monday, July 27th at 4:30 PM at the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, located at 10 Hilliard Drive in Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
Calling hours will be Monday, from 2:30 until the time of services.
