

Roger was born in Lakewood, NJ and grew up in Jackson, NJ before settling down in Toms River, NJ, where he raised his two children.
Roger is survived by his beloved mother Rosalie Becker, his loving children, Blake and his wife Victoria and Autumn Loichle and her fiancée Mohammed Nachit and his precious grandson, Vincent. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Gina and Scott Heyeck, Denise Oswald and Christine and George Newschafer as well as his nieces and nephew, Justin, Shauna, Skylar, Avrial and Rainee.
For the past 20 years, Roger worked at the Highland Plaza Apartments in Toms River as an apartment superintendent.
Roger was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. He will be greatly missed by all.
Of all his accomplishments in his life, his most favorite role was being a father and grandfather.
He enjoyed watching Survivor, he was an avid Eagles and Mets fan and loved racing his remote-controlled cars and boats. He was a fan of Italian food, especially Chicken Parm, as well as a good cheesesteak. Roger shared a deeply special bond with his daughter, Autumn, as they traveled to many different destinations in either the USA or abroad, making many lasting memories along the way.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 10:00am-11:00am at St. Mary’s Church, 747 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ followed by a Mass at 11:00am. Burial will follow at 12:00pm on Tuesday, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beachview Ave., Manahawkin.
