Born in Fort Monmouth, he spent time living in Asbury Park and Brick before settling in Manahawkin. Salvatore would go on to date his future wife Deborah, at the age of 17. He was an auto mechanic at Sears for most of his life before becoming a custodian at the Long Beach Island School District.
Salvatore loved spending time on his deck by the grill, often with classic rock or country music playing in the background. Above all else, his family meant the world to him. Some of his happiest moments were spent camping with his family and his beloved dogs, making memories that will be cherished forever
He was predeceased by his mother Mary Cutano.
