Stephen J George

Born on 4/5/1963 in Philadelphia. He grew up in Pennsylvania until moving to the Jersey shore.

Loving husband of Nancy George, father of Michael Seifert( Erin), Jamie Seifert , Eric Seifert , Jordan Barrett( Tanner) and Stephen George. Poppy to Harper, Jayda, and Walker, and his two dogs Harley and Luke.

Retired from Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley after 30 years of work, he started his surf casting guide service where he could pass his knowledge on to others. You could always find him on the beach fishing or stopping for a quick bite at his favorite place , Lighthouse Restaurant & Grill. You could never find his fishing spot , and he always came home with a fish.

In his spare time , he loved taking his grandchildren to the park and playing on the big slide. He will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be held at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ 08050, US, on April 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
