Born in Brooklyn, NY, resided in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Hazlet 57 years ago. Arthur proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves during peacetime.
He was a garment salesman for Greenwood Mills in Manhattan, NY.
Surviving is his wife Gloria (Karp) Sherman of 64 years, his daughter Sharon Ravner, his sons Dr Michael Sherman and his wife Penny, Ira Sherman and his wife Jennifer, his sister Blossom Siegel, his grandchildren Heather Carr and her husband Timothy, Rachael Ravner, Ryan Lee, Matthew Sherman and his wife Stephanie, Samantha Sherman, Alexa Sherman, Leah Sherman, Carly Sherman and Ellie Sherman and his great grandson Declan Daniel Carr.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 11am at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ. Services will be livestreamed on zoom:
