Deborah Windheim

She was born on July 6, 2028 in Newburgh, NY and was the fourth and youngest daughter of Jacob and Flora Becker. She was predeceased by her sisters Ruth Himmel, Dorothy Freer, and Judith Setzer.

She was married for 42 years to Walter Windheim, who passed in 2005.

A lifelong Democrat, she worked for the Richmond County district attorney’s office through the late 70s and early 80s.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue (Route 527), Manalapan, NJ 07726.

Service begins promptly at 10:00am.

Burial will be at Montefiore Cemetery, 121-83 Springfield Boulevard, Springfield Gardens (Queens), NY 11413 at 1:00pm.

She is survived by her daughter Pamela Windheim of Saugerties, NY; her son Bennett, daughter-in-law Elizabeth and grandson Ellis Windheim, of Philadelphia, PA; nephew Jack Freer of Buffalo, NY; and niece Helene Freer of Newburgh, NY.
