Eileen was one of the great women in Greenbriar Marlboro. I was constantly in awe of her stories of her exotic travels around the world. Of course the fact she was also a black diamond skier amazed me. 
Eileen lived life to the fullest and also made sure her grandchildren had the opportunity to experience some of her travel wonders.

My own 92 year old mother loved her and every time she visited in the summer made sure she sat with Eileen at the pool.

Eileen was a renaissance woman and will be missed! God bless may her soul rest in peace.

To the entire Fishkin family: 

I first met Eileen when I was 15 (45 years ago) upon arriving at the airport in New York to visit with Gary. Gary and I met on a teen tour in 1978 and have been close friends ever since. Eileen was extremely welcoming, as was the entire family, and has always been so. She organized many family ski trips to Killington VT, to which I travelled from Montreal, first by bus, and later by car. Those ski trips, and my many visits to New York and later New Jersey, are some of my favorite memories. 

We recently travelled from Toronto to participate in Aimee and Ally's wedding, where I again enjoyed being with Eileen at the out-of-towners' dinner, the wedding and later at the Fishkin house for a Chanukah party.  My family and I will always cherish these memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was an inspiration to all of us. I credit her for keeping my dad alive for as long as he did. I know how much she missed him. I always considered your mom as mine too. I will miss her.

Sincerest sympathy to the family.  Eileen was a valued member of the staff of the Grapevine Magazine in Greenbriar.  Besides proof reading each month, she wrote many fascinating stories about her travels and skiing expeditions.

She will be missed!

Eileen was a wonder. We used talk at the Greenbrier pool in the summer. I always looked forward to hearing about her trips with her grandchildren. I was so sorry to hear of her passing.  Sincere condolences to all of her family.

My heartfelt condolences to Debbie, Robin, Gary and their families. 
Eileen touched all that she came in contact with her passion for life and family. She was quite amazing at any age, but especially later in life when she continued her love of skiing, traveling, being social with men and taking special time out to enjoy her children and grandchildren.
I remember being on the dance floor with her at a Bar Mitzvah, thinking, I hope that I can move like that when I reach her age!
Thinking of all that knew and loved her, and hope fond memories will always remain with you.

Lost my last message to you so am starting over. My deepest sympathy to all the Fishkin family. I just assumed that Eileen would live on and on like I have at 92. Just hope I also not wake up some morning when it is time.
I so enjoyed knowing Eileen from all the ski club trips and events. I always thought I would be able to ski forever, but life does not work that way. We roomed together at some of the VT trips, though she was always a faster skier that me. I feel so lucky to have known Eileen and followed all her adventures on Facebook, enjoying her trips along with her posts. I will miss her.

We are so sorry for your loss. She was a true inspiration to all of us, and will be greatly missed. We will always remember her attitude towards life, seizing the moment and living it to its fullest.
