Elaine was preceded in death by her sister June Kole.
She is survived by her son George Rettig and his wife Deborah; brother Ronald Egers and his wife Jean; grandson Robert Rettig; and granddaughter Rachel Rettig.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, 12 Market Street, Saddle Brook, New Jersey 07663 immediately followed by a burial.
Shiva will be observed at the residence of George and Deborah Rettig on Saturday 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM; and on Sunday through Wednesday 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM with minyan at 6:10 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elaine's memory may be made to the Jewish National Fund and/or the North Shore Animal League.
