Harvey Ackerman, 81, of Monroe Township, NJ passed away on Monday, September 7th, 2015. He is survived by his wife Fran, his children Stewart and his wife Tamra, Mitchell and his wife Ellen, and Corey and his wife Stefanie. Mr. Ackerman also leaves nine grandchildren to cherish his memory. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ 07726 at 11:00AM. Entombment will follow at the Beth Israel Cemetery Mausoleum, Woodbridge, NJ. The family will observing Shiva on Tuesday after the services and on Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00-4:00PM and 6:00-10:00PM at Mrs. Fran Ackerman's residence, 4 Harwood Road, Monroe Township, NJ; on Thursday afternoon until Sunday at Mr. Stewart Ackerman's residence, 22 Edgewood Ave, Clifton, NJ; and Saturday evening and Sunday starting at 12:00PM at Mr. Mitchell Ackerman's residence (with Corey Ackerman and Fran Ackerman), 47 Foxboro Road, Wayne, NJ. Memorial contributions can be made in Mr. Ackerman's memory to the Israeli Defense Fund (IDF).
