Monroe Township, New Jersey and Delray Beach, Florida – Herbert Goldberg, 91, a long-time resident of Monroe Township and Delray Beach, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. His business career included positions as a Controller at Robert Hall for many years before moving on to the Navy Exchange System. He was an Army veteran of WW II where he proudly cultivated his cooking skills. One of his greatest loves and frustrations was Rutgers University football and basketball.
He was predeceased by his beloved first wife Selma, his parents Louis and Shirley as well as his sister Helen.
Surviving are his dearest wife of over 20 years Shirley; his children, Robert and his wife Karen, Richard and his wife Ellen, and Steven; 4 grandchildren, Kate and her husband Jon, Matthew and his wife Marielle, Rachel and Samuel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 am on Sunday January 27th at the Bloomfield-Cooper Funeral Home, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726.
