

Irwin Roth,79 years of East Windsor, N.J. died on Monday October 20, 2014 at the University Medical Center of Princeton, Plainsboro, N.J. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.Irwin was born on January 1st 1935 in Manhattan, New York to David and Florence Roth. He was raised in New York City. He attended boarding school and received a scholarship to play football at the University of Alabama. He always excelled in sports and was a great pitcher.He met his wife Paula on a blind date and they were married on October 6th 1957. They just celebrated their 57th year together.Irwin was a very successful salesman for 55 years in the food service industry and was loved and respected by everyone he worked with. He won the Presidents Award of Excellence as a leader in his field. His biggest success was the family he built and the love he gave to everyone that knew him. He moved to Spring Valley New York to raise a family and was there for 38 years. He has been living in an adult community in East Windsor for the last 10 years. He was known for his warmth, humor and generosity and will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his wife Paula Roth, East Windsor NJ, His daughter Ilene Clayman and her husband Scott Clayman, Marlboro New Jersey, his daughter Robin Roth, Los Angeles, CA, grandchildren Daniel and Amanda Clayman, Marlboro, NJ and a brother Michael Roth, Manhattan, NY.
Funeral services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan, N.J. on Wednesday October 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment followed at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave.,Paramus, N.J.. Should friends desire donations can be made at Merkelcell.org
