Mrs. Kusher was my 2nd grade teacher back in 2002. She was my favorite teacher. I googled her name to see if I could connect with her on LinkedIn and see how she’s doing. I’m saddened to hear of her passing. I know she’s made such an impact on all her students lives. I will always remember her. Rest in Peace.  ❤️

I just learned of Mrs. Kusher's passing.  She always held a special place in my memories; a great teacher, and such a nice person.  She taught my older daughter in 2nd grade at Voorhees School.  When Miller School reopened, my younger daughter had the pleasure of having her as her 2nd grade teacher!!  I had mentioned her this evening when I was picking up my grandson from after care at Miller School. Mrs. Kusher used to tell the children to turn their pajamas inside out and go hug a tree if they wanted it to snow!  It was then that I learned that she had passed away after being ill for a time.  My sincere sympathies to all her family and friends.  She was truly a special lady.

As a principal, I was blessed to work with many outstanding teachers during my career; Janet was among the best. She was not just an excellent teacher, but a valued resource as well.  I also had the good fortune to know Jack, Josh and Jaime. What a great family. God bless you during this very difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Janet was such a wonderful and caring woman. She helped me so much during my first couple of years of teaching. Even though we didn't teach very long together, I'll always remember her way and wisdom. My thoughts and condolences are with her family through this time.

Janet was my daughter's second grade teacher at Miller School in 2002. I had the pleasure of being the class mom that year and was able to see the personalized attention gave to all her students. Her amazing silhouettes of each student, the class pet hamster she shared with the students and the amazing end of year show where she was able to make those young stars shine just months following 9/11. She had them all sing "Proud to be an American". She left a mark on all the students she taught and was a truly an amazing educator. You should be very proud of the truly caring person she was and I am very sorry for your loss.

Jackie, I can't begin to express the deep sadness we feel with the loss of Janie. She was the bravest person I have ever known, always fighting to get better. She was a very dear friend and always there when someone needed her regardless of how she sick she was. She takes a piece of our heart with her. Eddie will always miss his "partner in crime".  We value the friendship and closeness we have built over the past few years and will always be there for you and the kids.

Jackie I am so sorry for your loss. My sister has been battling this same horrible disease for 2&1/2 years, I see it periodically in my practice and although we've made progress we need to do so much more.
