Mr. Kleiman was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Kleiman.
Leonard is survived by his wife Heidi Kleiman; daughter Jill (Eric) Golub; son Greg (Kelly) Kleiman; daughter Michele (Dan) Meyer; and seven grandchildren Sam Meyer; David Kleiman; Sarah Meyer; Emma Meyer; Leah Golub; Hannah Golub; and Jakob Kleiman.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 followed by an entombment at Mount Sinai Cemetery Mausoleum, Route #79, Marlboro, New Jersey 07746.
The period of mourning will be observed at the residence of Heidi Kleiman on Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, September 2, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It will also be observed at the residence of Jill & Eric Golub on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
