Lew was born in Hartford, CT, and resided in Marlboro, NJ. He was a professor at several colleges in New Jersey.
Lew was preceded in death by his spouse Lorraine Fein in March, 2019.
Lew is survived by his son Eric Fein, his daughter Nancy Barlow, his brother Richard Fein and his wife, Carol, his sister Marcia King and her husband Scott, his granddaughters Jessica Fein and Sara Saavedra, and grandsons Matthew Fein and Scott Barlow.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Following services Lewis will be laid to rest in Beth Israel Cemetery, 1075 Woodbridge Dr, Woodbridge, NJ.
Shiva will be held at Nancy Barlow's home, 10 Bell Ct, Budd Lake, NJ 07828 on Thursday, March 20, 2025, between 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm and on Friday, March 21, 2025, between 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm.
