We were together yesterday for you my dear! It's still hard...
Every day our daughter reminds me more and more of you! She can debate and negotiate with the best of them. You taught her well in those 11 short years you had with her. If you had stuck around longer you really could have taught her the whole host of Lloydisms. Maybe your friends and colleagues will share with her too, all they learned from you! Miss the wolf whistles at 9pm through the kitchen window and being told how "sexy" I am...things I didn't even know I would miss. RIP Babe

October 28, 2001 our wedding day...October 28, 2015 our 14th wedding anniversary. I watched our wedding video today, we looked so happy. I laughed while I watched our ceremony, you were so funny and buzzed. I cried watching you and your mom dance. You wished your dad was there and I remembered that.  I miss the fun and laughs we had. I wish you were here. Thank you for the 12 roses on the rose bushes. I've been waiting 14 years for a dozen roses and you finally gave them to me! Happy Anniversary in heaven, Lloyd. I can't believe it's been a year. It still doesn't seem real. I talk to you often and I'm sure you talk back in your own way. I miss you everyday and hope you got our messages we sent up to you yesterday. Hope your doing ok up there. I can't wait for the day that I see you again. I love you Lloyd. One year today, my dear. It doesn't seem possible. Have no fear, I have gotten all of your signs and messages. I cherish every one. I know you're with me every day, creating electronic mischief when possible. The poor manager from Delicious Orchards couldn't figure out what was wrong with the register, especially when it froze that second time. She even said, "This has never happened!" Well, I know why, you were pissed at the scallop purchase! You made me laugh that day, like you always did. I know you are watching over us. The sighting of the Tangerine Scream, Ford Focus was a nice touch, too! It is that time right now...the time I lost you. Rest easy, my dear and know...I miss you...

One year ago today my friend. One year since we heard your laugh, saw your smile listen to your jokes. Still doesn't seem real. How can this have happened to such a vibrant person. A person who loved life. It's just not fair. I can't tell you enough that your talked about daily and you are so loved by everyone. Lloyd you knew how to make a lasting impression that's for sure. Forever loved and missed.

Happy 48th Birthday, my dear! This is the first birthday since 2001 that we are not together. I miss you... Usually, we are away now, on our summer vacation but instead I sit, in my office, writing this. The backyard is full of sunflowers, snapdragons and your roses! I can hear you saying, "Mrs. Rubenstein, you've done it again!" Then you would take your official photo of me in the middle of it all, looking dirty and tired! I replay the tape, in my head, of all your sayings, it drives Mikayla mad, but I think it's funny! It keeps you with us. When we hear a song you liked we BLAST it in honor of you. When we hear a new song that you would have liked we always say, "Dad would have liked this song", then we crank it up! I still can't part with your clothes. Don't get me wrong sweetheart, they are moved, now I finally can get dressed in one room, I have a closet in my bedroom! I just can't part with the clothes yet. It keeps you here. 
You continue to live on...your donated corneas gave sight to a man in Illinios. 
I finally decided on an urn for you. One that is as special, unique and one of a kind, like you! Everyone who knows you will agree. THIS IS LLOYD!!
Please continue to watch over us, you know why.

I was very saddened to hear today of your passing back in September. I had purchased many a Lexus from Lloyd over the years, and it was always a pleasure to do business with him. I didn't know as I had not been in for a service call since back in August. My condolences to the Family. I always liked Lloyd and I will miss him.

It was about 2 years ago when I had been driving my Buick Lacrosse for about 2 years and was dissatisfied with the car.

Since we owned a Prius and were very satisfied, we decided to give Lexus a try.
We shopped another dealership and decided to see what your dealership had to offer.
I called the sales dept and Lloyd picked up.
His confident and friendly demeanor impressed me.
He was sure he could beat the other deal and invited us to stop by.
When we got over to see him he was a pleasure work with and took good care of us.
On future stops to your dealership I always made it a point to stop over and say hi.
A truly great guy who took pride and pleasure in helping his customer.
There is no doubt he read Ray's sign overhanging the service shop many many times.
My condolences to his family on the loss of a truly nice guy.
The car, an ES 50 Hybrid is truly the best car I have ever owned.

With our 13th wedding anniversary coming up on October 28, I decided it was time to write something. 
I still don't GET that he is gone. The house doesn't feel the same, no phone calls from the dealership with him saying, "Mrs. Rubenstein, how are you today?!" I miss him telling me daily, "I love you, honey." I didn't get married until I was 35 years old because I was waiting for the right guy. Then Lloyd walked into my life and life was NEVER boring again, my dear hubby, you saw to that!! You changed my vehicles so often that I could not remember what I was driving or where it was parked. I still park in the same row at Target out of habit! I'm going to miss his smile, his making up lyrics to a song while it's on, his laugh...I have nobody to tease about buying muscle car parts, for TWO muscle cars! 
Lloyd you ARE one of kind, there will NEVER be another!
I told you before we got married and many times after, "I am only doing this once in my life!" That statement still stands because nobody could EVER fill your shoes, ties, watches, bracelets or sneakers!
There is soooo much I want write but that would take months, even years!
You will ALWAYS be with Mikayla and me.

I was saddened to hear the news of Lloyds passing.   He was fun to be around and I really enjoyed talking about cars with him, especially his Ford Focus ST...

Over the years I have met and worked with many people in the car business, but none as special and caring as Lloyd.  His charisma and personality was second to none and I always considered him one of the best. He was so unselfish and would do anything to make people feel comfortable. I still can't believe I am writing this. It was like yesterday, I was walking in the sales office and you were singing your favorite jay-z song "can i get a" and I was amazed of how you knew every lyric, but that was you. You were so unpredictable and that's what made you, Lloyd Rubenstein. I will truly miss your laugh, charisma and smile that kept everyone coming back to work with an even bigger smile. You were also one of the wittiest, a man who had an instant rebuttal for anyone and everyone. You were truly one of a kind.

To your wife, mother and your beautiful daughter, keep your head up ladies as you know this man will have his down looking over you, guiding you and protecting you.

We have lost a great man but the skies have gained an angel.
