Marilyn was one our group of girls that did so much together.  Socially we travelled as a single entity. If it was a show at our clubhouse, it was reservations for 12 and Lenny was in charge of bringing our deposit first thing in the morning since he was always up early.  If it was our lobster dinner on Friday nights we made sure to call in advance to get a table large enough to accommodate us all.  We broke Yom Kippur fast together and would root  the super bowl football games together, although Marilyn was the only one of the women who actually watched the game, the rest of us girls weren't all that interested.  We loved everything we did.  It will never be the same and it will be so noticeable.  Marilyn was in charge of the champagne on New Year's Eve.  Mostly we never got  to drink it and she kept bringing the same bottles year after year.  I think last year we finally opened one bottle. Impossible to pack so many years of memories into a paragraph.  I have  a heart full ...... but I must express how much she loved her family.  Her grandchildren were so special to her and no matter what we had planned she would excuse herself if they were going to have plans at the same time.  She would save her change at MahJongg  for her children for Chanukah.  Their names always came up.  She wore her necklace with the 5 children all the time.  She was such a loving person.  I enjoyed that she had an opinion and that we could have discussions, sometimes we agreed, sometimes we didn't, but it was always stimulating and interesting.  Marilyn I will miss you dearly.  I will always remember you sneaking that little piece of Hershey chocolate.   I busted your chops but knew you were going to live your life your way.  It had to be.  Sleep in peace my friend and save me a seat at the MahJongg table.
