Samantha Gayle Solomon passed peacefully on January 17th, 2024, at CentraState Hospital in Freehold, NJ. Born on April 18th, 1992, she brought warmth and joy to the lives of everyone she touched. Samantha was the first-born daughter and the first grandchild in the family.
Samantha is survived by her parents, Alicia and Howard Solomon, her brother, Shane Solomon, her sister Jessica Solomon with her husband Garrett Wyckoff, and other close family members and friends. She is reunited in eternal peace with her grandparents, Donald and Sharon Solomon, and her aunt Debbi Halem.
Known for her unwavering love, kindness, eccentricity, and compassion, Samantha left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her. She was a source of strength, a beacon of light, a shoulder to cry on, a person to laugh with until your stomach hurts, and a pillar of support to many.
A drug and admissions counselor by profession, Samantha poured her passion into helping people be their best selves. Sammy found joy in makeup, drag queens, Kanye West, diet cokes, and a couple of slices of pizza from Krispy Pizza. Sammy was absolutely one-of-a-kind and a true fighter. Her warmth and optimism were unwavering and genuine to her core, spreading to everyone she touched.
A celebration of Samantha’s life will take place on Thursday, January 18th, with services starting at 9:15 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Shiva will be observed at the Solomon Allocco Household, 4 White Birch Lane, Holmdel, NJ 07730, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County.
