Sandra Newman

Sandra Newman, 83, passed away peacefully after a very long illness, surrounded by her loving family on Friday March 27, 2026. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Sandra was raised in Cranston, RI then moving to Brooklyn, NY, Virginia, Monroe Twps. and Little Egg Harbor before moving to Hallandale Beach, FL

Sandra was an Employment specialist for the Middlesex County Department of Employment and Training in New Brunswick, NJ

She loved shopping and playing games with family and friends. She especially loved playing Mahjong.

She was predeceased by her husband Dr Richard L. Newman.

Surviving are her daughter Roberta Newman-Kletter and her husband Howard, her sons Herbert Newman and Joshua Newman and his wife Valerie, Her brother George Goodman and his wife Gail her grandchildren Sadie Newman and Tyler Ritter and he grand-dogs Foxxy and Rosie.

Funeral services will be held on April 1,2026 at 9am at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Family and friend should arrive between 8:15am and 8:45am. Her burial will follow at Wellwood - Beth Moses Cemetery, 1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704, at 12:30 pm.
