Stuart Barry Zuckerman

Stuart is survived by his two children, Eric Zuckerman and Jennifer (Zuckerman) Moran and their spouses Amy (Kingsley) Zuckerman and Thomas Moran, his sister Linda (Zuckerman) Garber and niece Stacy Garber, his grandchildren Emma Zuckerman and Nora Moran as well as loving extended family and friends.

Stuart was born in Brooklyn, New York, excelling in both music and math. After completing high school at Brooklyn Tech, he went on to earn a degree from City College of New York. He had a very successful career in the timepiece industry, which brought him immense joy and personal satisfaction, serving over 30 years at companies Citizen and Seiko. At Citizen (1992-2010), he was credited as being a key player in the company’s establishment as the number one brand in its market. For as long as he was able, Stuart was active in his community, including volunteering for a variety of causes and as an advocate for the children's nonprofit organization, CASA. He had many passions during his life, including running, tennis, sailing, golf, travel and music (playing both the piano and guitar).

His children wish to extend a very special thank you to their mother and Stuart’s former spouse, Marian Zuckerman, who has devoted herself tirelessly and altruistically to Stuart as an advocate, caregiver and friend during his last years. Also thank you to the compassionate staff at CareOne King James in Atlantic Highlands, Brandywine in Wall and Seabrook/Renaissance Gardens in Tinton Falls, who were committed to Stuart’s care and preserving his dignity and quality of life during the course of his disease.

Funeral services for Stuart will be held at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan, NJ on Wednesday, May 25 at 11:00am. Stuart will be laid to rest at a private service at Holmdel Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in his memory to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) at www.theaftd.org or AFTD, Radnor Station, Bldg. 2, Suite 320, 290 King of Prussia Road, Radnor, PA 19087.

The family will be sitting Shiva at Eric and Amy Zuckerman's residence on Wednesday from 7:00PM-9:00PM, Thursday from 12:00PM-9:00PM and Friday from 12:00PM-4:00PM.
