Eleanor F. Daniel

She was born in Manchester on April 16, 1942, the daughter of the late Phillip and Tillie (Kuna) Gallant.

Eleanor was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She worked as a Supervisor in Food Services for 15 years at Elliot Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Foxwoods, and was always willing to help others.

She is predeceased by her husband, Frederick M. Daniel in 2008.

She is survived by three brothers, Donald Gallant of Litchfield, NH, Robert Gallant of Allenstown, NH and Ernest Gallant of Manchester; two sisters, Gloria Mandeville of Pembroke, NH and Elizabeth Zarakotas of Bedford, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 4 PM to 8 PM at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover Street, corner of Beech St., Manchester, NH 03104. A Memorial Service was celebrated on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 12 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial fdollowed in Harmony Grove Cemetery in Portsmouth, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor’s name to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave Ste 2, Norwood, MA 02062.
