Jean E. Lyonnais, 80, of Franklin and formerly of Manchester, died October 14, 2016 st the Concord Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Manchester on September 8, 1936 the daughter of William and Lorita (Hesseltine) Rowell. She grew up in the Queen City and was educated in the local elementary and high schools.
She was employed at the City of Manchester Senior Center and could always be counted on to help anyone, anytime and anywhere. Jean enjoyed getting together with family and friends and will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She was predeceased by her twin sister Jane Clark and her brother Wayne Rowell.
Members of her family include her three daughters Paula Peters of Nashua, Patricia Stevens and her husband James of Nova Scotia and Marie Fiorante and her husband Chris of Franklin, her two sons Robert Lyonnais of Goffstown and William Lyonnais of Florida, 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday October 20 from 3 to 5 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester followed immediately by a Memorial Service in the funeral home.
