Raymond A. Hagen, 91, of Manchester, died May 27, 2017 at the Maple Leaf Healthcare Center after a brief illness. He was born in Thief River Falls Minnesota on January 3, 1926 the son of Adolph and Harda Hagen. He grew up in Minnesota and was educated in the local school system.
Ray was a veteran of the US Army during World War II serving as a military policeman. Following his discharge in 1946 he relocated to Manchester. He was employed as a foreman for the Armand Sinotte Construction Co. with more than 30 years of service. He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.
He was predeceased by his wife Kaliroy (Poiltes) Hagen in 1995, his daughter Marie Hagen, his grandson Christopher Biccheiri and his sisters Elizabeth, Adeline and Dolores.
Members of his family include his three daughters Madeline Cadorette, Elaine Gibeault and her husband Daniel all of Manchester and Nikki Biccheiri and her husband Michael of Londonderry, his two sons William Hagen and Raymond Hagen Jr. and his wife Sherry all of Manchester and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours. Services will be private. The family would like to thank the staff at the Maple Leaf Healthcare Center for the loving care they provided to Ray. The McHugh Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family with his care.
