Charles "Charlie" J. Albanese, age 75, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Charlie was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, then moved to Byram where Charlie and his wife, Kathy, lived for 38 years before moving to the Leisure Knoll development in Manchester 7 years ago. Charlie proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded 3 Bronze Stars.He worked as a manager in Aerospace for CTI for several years and then worked in construction with his brother for Alna Construction Company. While living in Leisure Knoll, Charlie was a member of the Veterans Club, where he helped with Bingo and and played cards with Art's Card Club.
Charlie is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Kathy, his loving daughters; Stacy Carauvana and Lisa Tuttle and her husband Rob, his grand dog Barnie, his dear sister Connie McGrath and her husband Dennis and brother Salvatore Albanese and his wife Elvira, his nieces Caroline Albanese and Connieann Kovaleski and her husband Mike and nephew Dennis Michael McGrath, his great nieces and nephews; Christy, Amanda, Lauren, Ryan, Marissa and Tyler.
Following Charlie's wishes, private services will be held by the family.
