He was born on March 31, 1937, in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Charles L. and Doris Turner. After graduating from high school, he served in the U.S. Navy.
In 1959, he married Nancy C. Herbruck, and they eventually settled in New Jersey.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy, his eldest son Jeff, daughter-in-law Ingrid, and his sister Ruth.
He is survived by his daughter Debbie Fasnacht and her husband Mike, along with their three children: Scott, Amy, and Nicole. He is also survived by his son Doug Turner and Doug’s three children: Monica and her husband Carl Stockert, Richie, and Erika. He was a proud great-grandfather to Charlotte and Morgan Stockert and Wyatt Turner.
Chuck worked at Firestone while living in Ohio before relocating to New Jersey, where he became a buyer at WT Grant. He later owned and operated a successful manufacturers representative corporation up until retirement.
A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759.
