Cynthia M. O'Rourke

Cynthia M. O’Rourke, 78, of Manchester, NJ passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (Kimball Medical Center). Born in Kings Lynn, England, she met her beloved husband, Ralph, while he was stationed at Sculthorpe Air Force Base, England. They married she was 18 years old and moved first to Far Rockaway, NY and later to Long Island, NY where they raised their three children along with many dogs and cats, a turtle and an iguana. She moved to Manchester in 2005 upon her husband’s retirement.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ralph O’Rourke; a daughter, Maureen O’Rourke and her husband Ken McDaniels of Manchester; two sons, Terry O’Rourke and his wife, Maria, of Gig Harbor, WA and Dan O’Rourke of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren, Tracey Churray of NYC, NY, Matthew, Ryan and Charlie O’Rourke, all of Gig Harbor, WA, and Evangeline of Sacramento, Ca; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, Thursday at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ.
