

Dominick R. Nolfi, 87. Of Toms River, NJ, passed away on October 30, 2015, at the Leisure Chateau in Lakewood, NJ. Born and raised in East Orange, NJ, Dominick resided in Glen Ridge, NJ, from 1963 to 1994, before moving to Toms River, NJ 21 years ago. Dominick was a proud Navy Veteran, who served on the USS Jack and an avid Navy Football fan, which is putting it lightly. Dominick worked as a driver for Costa Disposal in Montclair, NJ 35 years before retiring in 1990. Sometimes working 70-80 hours a week, he never missed a day of work. This is the amazing work ethic that Dominick instilled into his children which they have passed down to his grandchildren. As well as his amazing work ethic, he also showed how important his grandchildren were to him by never missing an event, practice or game. Navy Blue, through and through.
Dominick is predeceased by his parents George and Ida Nolfi. He is survived by his devoted children Dominick Patrick Nolfi and his wife Karen, of Toms River, NJ, with whom Dominick had resided with for the past 21 years, Tina Marie Nolfi Donegan of West Orange, NJ and Thomas George Nolfi and his wife Marissa of Bedminster, NJ, his adored grandchildren, Andrew Nolfi and his wife Paige, Zachary Galen Nolfi, Diedre Nolfi-Donegan, Rachel Donegan, Paul Donegan and Isabella Luna Nolfi and his great granddaughters Lena Skye Nolfi and Ariana Antontee.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday November 5, 2015, at 11:30 am in the chapel at the Brig. Gen. WC Doyle Veteran Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562, with MiIitary Honors to follow.
