I am really without words for the depth of the loss I felt upon hearing that You'd left us. We met through Elkhound Rescue, and you were just the most amazing home, especially for those needing something extra.I loved your spirit, independence, generosity, and passionate love for animals of all sorts. We messaged just a week before you left, and had I known I would have told you that and more. Thanks for all of your help with our Dragon, and thank you for making this world a better place. I am so sure you were met by an amazing array of feathered, furred and scaly "people" at the Rainbow Bridge...

Liz was my cousin. I am so proud and impressed by the beautiful, strong and independent woman she became. I had the pleasure of spending time with Liz over the summers when we were children, when she was known as Beth. All of the cousins had some very fun times together that I will never forget. Sadly, I missed out on Liz as an adult, living on opposite ends of the country. But I can tell from the other comments that she was an amazing person and an amazing advocate for animals. I miss the times we never had and I am so sad she is gone from this earth, but I know she made a difference while she was here, I know she mattered....
All my love and thoughts are with you- Aunt Christine, Uncle Dave, David and Billy, may you find peace in your happy memories of Liz.

I regret not knowing of Liz's medical battle and missing the opportunity to say goodbye.
Having worked with Liz for decades, I appreciated her work ethic, intelligence, and surprisingly salty language. Liz was reliable and her unique viewpoint on many matters challenged my thinking many times.
I will most remember Liz's dedication to the environment and animals.
Mother Earth has lost a soldier.
My condolences to her parents, siblings, relatives, and all others who share in her loss.

I had the pleasure of working with Liz for many years. She was always helping the small animals that would find her. She will be missed. Prayers for her family and may she rest in peace.

Many of us go through life thinking there will always be a tomorrow. 20 or 30 years can slide by in a wink. One day there are no more tomorrows. Sadly due to time and space I have missed most of Liz life. I only learned of her situation 3 weeks ago, then she was gone. Attached photo of Liz and Sunshine taken about 1976 or 1977. She always had a soft spot for our furry friends. Say hello to Gary, see you on the flip side.

Liz,

I had the pleasure of working with you for 15 years.
It was hard to see you leave a few years ago.
It's even harder now.
I will always remember you.
Thank you for all the laughs. I will treasure them.
Until we meet again, may you rest in peace.

Liz,
You are such a fierce, caring and independent woman. I've always been amazed at the things you've accomplished. I still can't believe you're gone. Rest in peace with all the fur babies. Say hi to Gram for me. Love you always xoxo
