

Frances Veerman, 88, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the Bartley Health Center, Jackson. Frances was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she resided for nearly 45 years before moving to New Jersey and eventually settling in Leisure Knolls, Manchester. Frances was a free hand artist and enjoyed the arts.
She is predeceased by her husband, George Keenan, in 1987. She is survived by her son, George Keenan of Jackson; a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Eddie Ackerman of Howell; three grandchildren, Debbie Canal and her husband Pete of Howell, Joey Rovi and his wife Linda of Jackson, and Jason Keenan of Las Vegas, Nev. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Julia, and Tyler.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday May 20 from the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, May 21 from St. Aloysius Church, Jackson. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
