

Frank J. Mooney, 74, 86, of Manchester, NJ, entered eternal life on Friday April 6, 2012, at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, and raised in Freehold, NJ, Frank attended Freehold High School and was a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s College of Emmetsburg, MD in 1959. He entered the US Army in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1965.
He was employed by Frequency Engineering in Farmingdale as a purchasing agent. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed golf and was a devoted NY Yankee baseball fan.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Martin and Margaret Mooney, of Leisure Knoll in Manchester, NJ, his beloved brother Martin Mooney of Jacksonville, FL, and great niece Elizabeth Mary. He is survived by his sister and her husband, Kathleen and William Giunco of Manasquan, his sister-in-law, Cherie Mooney of Jacksonville, FL, and his four nephews and their wives, William, Jr. and Margaret Giunco of Manasquan, Christopher and Susan Giunco of Ocean Gate, Vincent and Lori Giunco of Brielle and Alexander Mooney of Jacksonville, FL, and seven great nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be on Wednesday April 11, 2012 from 4-8 pm at the Anderson & Campbell, 3010 Ridgeway Road/Route 571, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Thursday April 12, 2012 from Saint John’s Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Burial to follow at Saint John's Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frank’s memory to the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Philadelphia, PA/chop.edu.
