James H. Bellamy, 74, of Manchester, NJ, passed on Tuesday November 11, 2014 at his home. Born in Tabor City, NC, to the late Roosevelt and Flossie Bellamy, James lived in Philadelphia before moving to Manchester 40 years ago. He worked as a dietary aide for Manchester Manor from 1986 to 2002.
James was predeceased by his son James Bellamy, Jr. and his longtime companion Carol Griffin, his siblings Esther Hayes, Clarence Bellamy, Rosa Decausey, Mary Elizabeth Wiggins, CJ Bellamy and Elizabeth.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Bellamy, his children Rhonda Jones, Deenie Thomas, Linda Lancaster, Carita Griffin, Dolly Griffin, Gail Griffin and Tony Griffin, his brother Herbert Bellamy and his fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, on Tuesday November 18, 2014, from 10-11 am with a Funeral Service to start at 11 am. Interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
