Jane D. Lagomarsini

Jane D. Lagomarsini, born on April 29, 1933, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 92. Born in the Bronx, Jane grew up in Manhattan. She graduated from Jane Addams High School, also known as beauty school. After meeting Joe, they married and moved to Dumont and lived there for 41 years before moving to Whiting 15 years ago. Jane worked as a hairdresser and manicurist for many years and retired when she moved.

Jane enjoyed working, traveling, particularly to the New England states, shopping and reading. She especially loved a good Rob Roy, which she rarely turned down. Jane was a true one of a kind, when you met her, you couldn't help but love her. You knew when she walked in the door, whether at someone's house or the doctor's office, the party was about to begin.

Born to the late Francis J. and Jane D. Mallan, Jane was predeceased by her husband Joseph Felix Lagomarsini, her brother Francis J. Mallan, Jr, sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Warren Stroh, and her nephew Dennis Stroh. She is survived by her devoted daughter Diane Peters and her husband Owen, her nephews, Michael Stroh and his wife Joanie, Kevin Stroh, Bobby Scott, Billy Scott, and Joey Scott, her great grandnieces Daniella, Emily, Sofia, Victoria and Annie, her sister in law and brother in law, Eileen and Tom Scott. Jane is also survived by many family members, which will miss her dearly.

A memorial visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, located at 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759, on January 29, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, with a funeral service to start at 12:30 pm.

A committal service will take place at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562, on January 29, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm, where Jane will join her beloved Joe.
