Joseph Dunn

Joseph Dunn, age 82, of Manchester, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Joseph was born in Newark, NJ, grew up in Newark and Belleville and lived in Nutley before moving to the Renaissance development in Manchester in the mid 90's. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and worked as an options trader for Cowen & Co. on Wall Street in New York for many years. While living in Renaissance, Joseph enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Golf Club, Men's Club, Bocce committee and Friends of the Shield. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and was a true bookworm, reading suspense and thriller stories.

Joseph was predeceased by his loving wife Mary (2014). He is survived by his two sons; Joseph Dunn of Chelsea, MA, and Michael J. Dunn and his wife Janine of Bloomfield, NJ, and his two grandsons; Lucas Dunn and Owen Dunn.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Tuesday July 11, 2023, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, from 3-6 pm, with a funeral service followed by Military Honors, to be held at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joseph's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate
