Laura Gerace

Laura Gerace, age 71, of Manchester, New Jersey passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. Laura was born and grew up in Brooklyn, NY, where she graduated from Lafayette High School. She moved to Miami in the late 70's and that's where she started her family. After living in Miami for over three decades, Laura moved to Galloway, NJ, in 2015 and then to Manchester in 2020. Laura worked many jobs throughout her years but her biggest career achievement was fulfilling her dream of becoming a flight attendant. Her most recent position was as an office assistant for Dr. Theresa Bell in Galloway, NJ. She was a very charitable and caring person. Laura donated regularly to St. Jude Children's Hospital and various animal shelters across the United States. She would often grow her hair and donate it to those in need of wigs due to their illnesses. Laura also spent her time taking care of family member and she loved spending her time with her children and grandchildren.

Laura is survived by her loving children; her daughter, Jessica Hayes and her husband Demetrius and son, Jason Gerace and his wife Leslie; her cherished grandchildren; Laylani, Anthony, and Jasmine and her furbabies, her cats; Buddy Holly, Bella, and Danny Boy. She is also survived by her sister Florence Avvento.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation for Laura on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 5 to 7 PM and on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10 AM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759. Interment to follow at the Medford Cemetery, 25 Fostertown Road, Medford, NJ.
