Lorraine Rinaldi

Lorraine Rinaldi, a vibrant and joyful soul whose laughter was a gift from God, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she lived with deep faith and love, bringing warmth, joy, and light to all who were blessed to know her.

Residing in Manchester, New Jersey, Lorraine was known for her love of Broadway musicals and dancing. She was a former Rockette in NYC, and while raising their 6 children in East Hanover, she ran a dance school out of her home. Her enthusiasm for these activities brought joy to those around her and served as a testament to her vibrant spirit.

Throughout her life, Lorraine was always positive and fair, never having a bad thing to say about anyone. She was deeply family-oriented, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be cherished by all who knew her. Her thoughtful and kind-hearted demeanor touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered fondly for her unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 2001, her daughter Patty DellaTorre in 1991 and her sister Dorothy "Dot" Schilling. She is survived by her children; Timothy Rinaldi and his wife Mary, of Chesapeake, VA, Thomas Rinaldi and the late Sally Rinaldi, of Poplar Branch, NC, Robert Rinaldi and his wife Tracey, of Florham Park, NJ, James Rinaldi of Manchester, NJ and Kathleen Hagburg of Manchester, NJ, her 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at 10 am at the Saint Rose of Lima Church, 312 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ, where Lorraine will be laid to rest with her husband Tom and daughter Patty.
