

Peggy was predeceased by her beloved husband of almost 65 years, Richard Riccitelli. She was also predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Auth, and her beloved brother Charles.
She is survived by her loving children: Joseph Riccitelli and his wife Camile, Vincent Riccitelli, Susan Walker and her partner Richard Bitetti (and remembering her late husband Christopher Walker), and David Riccitelli and his wife Maria. Peggy was the cherished grandmother of Gabriel Riccitelli, Matthew Riccitelli, Anthony Walker, and Danielle Walker.
Born in Newark, NJ, Peggy grew up in Irvington and attended Irvington High School. She married Richard in 1959. She and Rich resided in Irvington until moving to Union in 1976, where they raised their family for the next 25 years. Peggy later retired from the Irvington Board of Education.
Following her retirement, Peggy and Richard moved to Manchester, NJ, where they spent over twenty years. They were longtime residents of the Renaissance, where they enjoyed golf and playing bocce. Peggy loved traveling and spending time with her girlfriends playing cards and bingo. She also developed a special bond with her caretaker and good friend, Erika Candelaria, over the past few years.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home at 6:30 pm.
A Committal Service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery & Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936, with entombment to follow. Those attending the procession and service should be at the funeral home at 9:00 am.
